Pakistani Ambassador Khalid Aziz Babar addressed the Kashmir Solidarity Day ceremony held at the Pakistani Embassy in Tehran on February 6, 2012.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran says promoting Islamabad-Tehran media cooperation can increase mutual understanding between the two countries.

“Promoting cooperation will also pave the way for helping the officials of Iran and Pakistan and other nations to gain a better understanding of the developments and achievements in mutual relations in the region,” said Khalid Aziz Babar.

He went on to say that “The move will also be a major step towards harmony and amity among the people of the two countries who have many cultural similarities.”

Babar also said that media delegation exchange should be continued in order to expand media cooperation between Pakistan and Iran.

The Pakistani official suggested that the reporters from Iran visit the media in Pakistan in order to exchange their experience with their counterparts.

Babar concluded that, “Iran and Pakistan are two neighboring countries with friendly and brotherly relations. Exchanging high level delegations, such as the presidents of the two countries, can be an example for other Muslim nations.”
